White wine from the Mâcon district, of a white or yellow golden colour flecked with green, silver, shiny and smooth shades. Subtle bouquet of broom, white roses, acacia, honeysuckle, fern, vervain, lemongrass and citrus fruits (such as grapefruit and tangerine). It is also slightly perfumed with pine, quince and fenne aromas.
Its rather fresh and gay, dry but also fruity taste together with its
acidity give this wine a profile which argues good keeping qualities.
Elegant wine, it can easily be served as an aperitif drink with crackers, peanuts and olives. Being lively, mellow, smooth and aromatically diverse, it offers a delicate balance which makes it easy to be served with numerous dishes : in winter, it will go well with poultry or veal served in a creamy sauce as well as with creamy meat or fish risottos. In summer, it will go well with grilled fish, cold antipasti, ratatouille and rather sophisticated salads.It can even be served with sushi and goat cheese.
