Château Vitallis protects the reputation of Pouilly Fuissé wines, especially with its “Vieilles Vignes vintage which symbolizes the success of our production.
The Pouilly Fuissé “Vieilles Vignes” wine comes from
45-to-70 years old vines. In order to make this wine smooth, mellow and
fresh at the same time, the alcoholic fermentation and the elevage are
done in new oak barrels (for 20%) and the technique of the so-called “batonnage”is
used. This technique is a typically Burgundian technique and can be described
as a process where the liquid from lower down the vat is pumped over and
pushed back down again.
This rich, promising and generous wine is of a shiny, pale yellow colour with golden shades .
Thanks to its high quality, this vintage has a promising future.
It goes well with fish, seafood, white meat served in a creamy sauce.
To be served between 10 and 12°C.
